City Park
Winterset City Park has many wonderful features spread out over 76 acres: three beautiful limestone shelter houses; play equipment; restrooms; picnic areas; campground; hedge maze; lower park natural area, Cutler-Donahue Covered Bridge; Bennett Cabin; Clark Tower; and other historical sites. In March of 2021, City Park was placed on the National Register of Historic Places. City Park celebrated 150 Years in 2022!
The road to Clark Tower closes each night at sunset and does remain closed during the winter months. The park's main drive, does remain open year round.
