Home Audits
The Winterset Municipal Utilities is partnering with MidAmerican Energy and A-TEC Energy Corporation to provide residential energy audits for WMUs and MidAmerican's customers in Winterset. Customers will receive a HomeCheck residential audit performed by A-TEC Energy Corporation, which will offer opportunities for them to save energy and increase the comfort level in their homes.
To qualify the residential customer must live in a home built before 1992 whose primary heating fuel comes from MidAmerican and is within the WMEU's service territory.
If eligible, the customer can receive insulation or window upgrade rebates or discounts in financing.
